A friend of mine runs dry K&N filters with filter socks on 360 & 410 Sprint cars and no issues . He has found out a dry filter is worth .50 seconds faster lap times and a wet filter is the same as extremely fat fuel mixture

Also my filter is very lightly fogged with filter oil as I rely on the filter sock to protect the filter

Funny how people who haven't driven my truck will say I can't feel a difference.

It's like night and day and sounds awesome!
I find it weird how this is a air intake thread and we have a bunch of nay sayers hanging out here.

The throttle response increased noticeably, I can actually get my tires to slip a bit off a start compared to before when I couldn't do it at all and the noise is very loud if your into that, you guys will love it.

You must love showing off your university of Phoenix degrees on a Tacoma forum.

And again, how does that put you in the driver seat of my truck?

Likewise, I'm not a salesmen so I'm not trying to pitch a sale here.

Do as you guys please, but I'm happy with my K&N Intake and I'm sure others won't regret it either.

Third gear Dyno. And they are running 33 inch tires when 31 is stock. They could have shown more power with the stock sized wheel!

No doubt but awesome low end torque gains none the less, someone on here had it for r&d and felt it provided a lot more snap/throttle response.
