Make sure you maf etc is hooked up properly. Can't see how just adding an intake could cause this. I've ran a cai on my last 4 vehicles.

Sure you didn't cam your motor and put a stall converter in while adding the cai?

I've run it in a '02 V6 Accord but never had any issues. I've checked to make sure everything is on snug and yes I have disconnected and reconnected ccv tube and maf. I'm thinking maybe since it's a newer vehicle, the ecu has to learn the new air flow? I had a '13 Subaru wrx and bought a Cobb air intake for it but without the accessport or tune it would run lean. I haven't had that problem though, power is all there low end and top. Only time I have the issue is when in reverse.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery to initiate relearn and have you had the transmission TSB performed?

While I was installing it I had the negative disconnected. I even tried a second time.

And I've actually thought about that. It's been about two months since my last servicing so I don't think they did the new trans update that came out recently. I'm close to my next service mileage so I will have them do the update then and see if that does it. Thanks

TSB came out July 14th I had it done shortly after and it helps quite a bit. Shift points are where they should be, MUCH smoother from park to drive, you'll be happy you did it.

Hey fellas, Tuff here. I got my AFE CAI, yesterday while during my workout, Needless to say, I stopped wrking out and installed right out of the box ..:bananadance: lol, within 40 minutes. "Easy Peasy". Took it to work and the response acceleration time is Great compared to stock :burnrubber:. The gear shift is smoother IMO, in acceleration and down shifting :thumbsup:. Im loving the way the TACO is sounding !! I noticed the inlet opening in front of the intake (vertical opening) that has a rubber plug came off. Any suggestions to secure this plug, preventing it from falling off ??? Overall, I'm very pleased with CAI .... now for an Exhaust Mod :bucket:LMAO !!!:mudding:

Same problem here. Found the front plug laying underneath and in front of the intake box. Got some super duper extra stick duct tape to help secure it and it doesn't stick to it. That's some super slick plastic. I'm going to contact aFe and see what they say about it. They're probably going to tell me to buy the air scoop. I've been thinking about that anyhow. Just wish it wasn't so pricey.
