    Lots of guys around here hate them but I really like how it makes my truck sound and I think that it responds better than stock.
    Edit: I got the dry, non-oiled filter as I had heard of oiled filters messing up the air sensor.

    I posted this over in the "What Have You Done" Thread, but so far pretty happy with the HPS Silicone Air Intake Tube (57-1600) with TRD Intake Flow Accelerator (PTR03-35160-AE) combo.

    The stock intake box is already pretty well designed, so just basically made two components of it more free flowing. Throttle definitely is a bit more throaty. Still haven't filled up a new tank, but avg MPG seems to have ticked up at least 0.5-1mpg. I've been tracking my fuel usage for a while in the FuelLog app, so I'll reserve final judgement until I get a few tanks in and compare to before. At the very least, I don't think this setup is detrimental compared to stock.

    One thing to note, although it shows an aluminum breather hose coupling, I received a black plastic one.

    I want to run 35s in the near future but hate the look of a snorkel. If i were to get the AFE GT Pro 5R with a dry filter and the dynamic intake scoop could i plug the intake in the fender and still get enough air into the engine?
