Does anyone have a good recomendation on aftermarket air intakes? I just put a suspension lift and bigger tires on my taco and I need a boost of power...

I noticed you have an '11 and how do you know. The air box on my system doesn't look like it's built for maximum air flow..

So what I've gathered is all these companies making cold air intakes are making tons of money because they don't work?

So is the consenus is....? They don't work, but they make great noise? Or people are just on here cause they're bored tonight and don't actually feel like giving good advice? I'm looking for advice from people who've had real experience and wasted money or have had great results. Just trying to get more power out of my truck. P.S. If I could get 12 seconds out of my truck on a quater mile, I'd be effin stoked. LOL!

Did you click my link? I love my URD. I swear I felt a better response over my TRD with it. Plus, it's nice to know the tube is actually cold when I touch it.

Yea, well let me be 1,000,001... I don't know anything about cold air intakes. That's the point of a forum. If you guys want to be stuck up and forget that you were once a novice, cool! What a waste of time.........

I wouldn't consider my last post talking shit, unless you're sensative... I'm just looking for feedback.

I have a volant on mine, looks cool, loud. not sure if it added any power better throttle response......also lost 1 mpg tho vs stock. I'm thinking about going back to stock

I lost at least 3 mpg when I put the lift and tires on. That's why I'm hoping there a miracle cure for my loss of power. But in medicine as in mechanics, I'm sure there's no miracle cure.
