I ordered a new wiper 'transmission' (linkage), and see there are two part numbers available, 85150-04042 (cold climate spec) and 85150-04052 (standard spec).
Does anyone know the difference in these two parts? Same motor is used on cold and standard, so I'm assuming there's some difference in the 'transmission' (or, linkage).
Or, is there some way to tel from the data plate on the truck or from the state where it was sold new?
I ordered the 'cold climate spec' part just in case.
    Thanks!

as I understand it, it is a beefer unit to deal with the extra weight of snow and ice
I would assume most of Canada and the Rust Belt get them
the build sheet for the VIN at Toyota would list it I think

Thanks. I checked the info from the Toyota owner site and it doesn't mention it so I'll assume it's standard type. Thanks!

    Hey man

can you tell me what parts that transmission came with? I’m trying to get the bolts that lock it into the body of the truck as well as those large cushion like washers. Thanks

It didn’t come with bolts, but it did have the rubber bushings.
