I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue. The service writer had trouble understanding the issue.

On cold mornings 40 or below, I startmy truck and the radio comes on and no sound comes out. I can turn the radio on and off... nothing. There is just a steady beep every 3 seconds or so. I finally have to turn the truck on and off and the radio works. Pain to start the truck twice. I am thinking is might be a security system, but who knows.

If anyone has any thoughts, I would love to hear them.

My truck did something similar to that, then just went static at full volume. I had to turn the truck off to get it to stop. I had no control over anything on the radio. Hasn't happened again so I have just brushed it off as nothing.
