where do you think this squeak comes from? A idler pulley bearing? A part of the power stearing pump assembly? This squeak only happens when I start it first thing in the morning. It takes about 15 seconds to start up. Once the motor runs for a couple minutes, it goes away. Ive replaced the belt and the water pump recently. thanks for your input.

Sounds like the belt, did you clean the pulleys before installing the new belt.

Or if you spilled any coolant on it, it only takes a few drops of coolant on a belt to make it squeak.

Or if a pulley is out of alignment.

A good test to see if it's the belt or a bearing is to take a spray bottle and spray a bit of water on it, if the noise changes/goes away it's the belt.

Here is a video of the spray bottle trick. So this must be a belt issue then?
