    I have a 2004 Tacoma DC 2.7L Automatic.

Occasionally I'll let a week go by without driving the truck, then when I get in it and start it, it seems to be sluggish about going. I can put it in gear fine, but the transmission seems to be a little sluggish... Any ideas on what might cause this or has anyone else had the same problem?

Once it's warmed up even a little bit, it seems to work great with no shifting problems.

Not sure, I bought it at 132,800 and now it has around 135,600 on it.

Well, today it was around 70 degrees, and raining, but it has also done it in higher temps and no rain...

Hmmm...I'm not really sure what it could be then? I know I have a completely different truck then you but mine sits for about a week in between starts and its always fine.

I'd add in some Seafoam and see if that helps if'n I was you. Seems to be pretty popular fix-it juice around this forum. :D

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing... :) I've never used it before and thought I'd better get some advice before I put it in there...

What color is the fluid? If it doesn't look clean I would flush and change the fluid.

It's blood red... The previous owner took really good care of it...

I've experienced longer shift points if I jump in and drive (which I try to avoid) after it warms up it the shift points seem normal.

    3.4 Auto.
