Some of us Coleman collectors are camping at Plumas Eureka SP, includes the Jamison Mine, by Graeagle which is north of Truckee. August 24-26. A small group this year, in the past we have had about 17 people. I will for sure be there, campsite #49, sharing it with Matt. So far we have reserved sites 34, 48, 49. Stop by if in the area, maybe see some stoves or lanterns you've never seen before, if you have questions or a problem with any stove or lantern, we might be able to help. Sometimes we give away stuff. I may camp Thursday night at Ross Camp if any interest to come early.

It’s a bit of a drive but I will try to drop in. I have 2 Coleman lanterns that my parents used camping when I was a kid. I used them in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. They are 60 to 65 years old and in great shape. I may give them to someone in your group if they will make a good home for them. The hsssssssss they make when lit brings back a lot of memories.

We love stuff with a back ground, be really happy if you can stop by. May have something cold to share. Like I said, I will be there. I'll be the oldest there so far, I think the rest are 30 to 40ish. One young guy has that Gilkie tent trailer, not sure if he is bringing it.

I'll be here. A little crowded, the guy who reserved the campsite invited another guy, so hoping I dont have to set up my tent in the vehicle spot. Site 49, plus we have a few more sites reserved, look for extra lanterns and stoves. Dont think we can park three vehicles at one site, maybe one guy will ride his motorcycle or we can park a extra vehicle at another site, paying the extra vehicle fee. Looks like at least five maybe six of us, one collector coming over from Utah in site 48 I think, he'll be there a day early. Maybe I'll ride my motorcycle over to case out the campsite again. Not sure I'll post pics, my new tablet wont let my camera download photos that I can figure out and it takes bad photos. I have the blue Taco, State of Jefferson sticker on the back window, sliders, doggie crate, short beard geezer.

Sorry I can not make it. I had definitely planned to be there but my lab had knee surgery and I need to stick around for a week or two to keep an eye on him. I’ll post a pic of my lanterns later and a brief history of them.

We'll be at Mt. Diablo in October in a group campsite, never been in that area. Only been to Pt Reyes a few times, Samuel P Taylor SP. Olema this Spring on our motorcycles.
