it's not as big, but it has fantastic terrain. good variance too, from easy to hard. seems like at rausch, you get a nice variance from greens to rock creek, but after that, it's just cliffs. The cove doesn't have that gap, and has a good increase in difficulty between hard and impossible. if you make it there, my favorite trail is called corrum. definitely give it a try. it's their version of rock creek. it's an uphill trail that gets steeper and has larger rocks as you go further. it's nice because there are almost constant cutoffs, so if you're with a group, vehicles can cut off when they reach their limit, instead of having to winch everyone up past the half way point. you may have to winch once or twice, or break out the hi-lift, but you'll be able to make it to the op in your truck.

Happy with the way the rock lights turned out.

lights are in identical locations on both sides of the truck. pictures are of the drivers side lights.

behind the front tire. this one may move back a couple of inches because the body mount it blocking a little of the light, but it's not bad. on another note, it looks like i took a real nice hit to the body right next to the light. must have been a real tall/sharp rock to reach up through the slider

didn't feel like running 8 wires through the firewall. would have stretched out that grommet like a freshman at senior prom. decided to put the distribution block under the hood instead of inside the cab. not i only have two wires going through the firewall for the control box

Vision-X claims the box is waterproof. i took it apart, and it's not sealed, but it's no different than having some spade connectors without heat shrink. i'll be siliconing the distribution board on the inside and then dielectric greasing the plugs just in case.

running through the strobe settings with the wireless remote

no video of the music pulse setting, but it's pretty entertaining.

    Thank ya Zac :)

well that's interesting. sounds like maybe a bad solder inside the unit. mine's been working from a good 60-70 feet all night. been chilling on the hotel balcony scaring the crap out of all the drunk folks coming back from the bars when they walk by the truck.

Have you ever had a problem with water coming into your cab after running all those wires?

nah, look at that fuse box. i have so many wires going through that factory grommet in the firewall that there's no room for anything to get through, water included. always makes me feel dirty trying to jam a finger through it when i try to route new wires.

Pic of the sealed pinch weld. They made it look nice aside from all the dirt and also put the stuff on the inside. tazedu8a_92105840108275180ca333a287a3c4336084df24.jpg

Aside from that, so are you set on the TC +3.5 kit?

3.5in is obviously better travel but +2 is good and the extra 3in from the +3.5 on trails is NOOOO good imo
