According to my University it is... They have been talking since the summer and sounds like they may shut down the entire EE dept soon due to lack of revenue... (ie poor student to teacher ratio)

you see what Beefed Taco did to his foot with a grinder a couple weeks back?

shoot, forget the rock lights, i'll just duct tape a bunch of those under my truck.

watch it be a prank, and it actually just blows up in your hand like a dry ice bomb "rotfl"

trimmed the front fenders this evening. tied two sharpies together with some braided fishing line. the bottom one ran under the fender as the guide, and the top one drew on the masking tape for the cut line. side note: if you haven't tried it yet, next time you need masking tape, pick up some frog tape. it's all i buy now. masks better than the blue painters tape, and you can bend and manipulate it closer to how you can with duct tape or electrical tape.

anyways, after i masked and traced, i took the dremel to it. it was nice and refreshing to have the dremel breeze through it compared the the plated cab mount yesterday. after i cut, i took a sanding wheel to the sharp edge, then took a pain sprayed shop towel and coated the exposed steel with paint. then just slapped on some of the black door trim molding. same stuff i have on the bedsides where i cut for the high clearance rear.

cut off about 2 inches. based my cut on the fender lining up directly with the AP bumper wings afterwards.

Looks great man! I'm not ready to cut my fenders... Good thing I don't have too. haha. I like the black liner too! I used the same thing on my bedsides when they were cut for the rear bumper.

yeah, there's no need to cut them on 33s unless you're LT, or running a wheel with stupid low backspacing.

    Depends on how explosive:cool: haha

2nd favorite prank to date, haven't got to try it though

    http://youtu.be/WkyjKM7jXfs

Number 1 is when I was helping my Aunt clean out an old house and she found a can of cigarette poppers:cool:

You get a hold of a person's cigarettes and carefully jam one of these are deep into the cigarette as you can without ruining it or making it look obvious. Kind of tricky actually and when the cigarette cherry gets to it is explodes with a decent pop and pretty much destroys what is left of the cigarette:rofl: I got my dad and one of my Sergeants several years ago. I did like 3 cigarettes from each of their packs and randomly shuffled them in. My Dad didn't have much reaction at all. He knew what it was right away, but the look on my sergeants face was awesome!!!

i've gotta try the cigarette one lol

just about any autoparts store. usually comes in chrome and black. it's actually that trim that people put around the edges of their doors and trunks of cars.

Looks great man! Cutting the Fenders FTW! lol my rear bedsides flap all around now after I cut them. No more support. Your Truck looks way more aggressive with the new tires and the cut fenders!

Thanks Alex, I'm loving how they look. just trying to make them functional now.

I have some crazy bedside flap from cutting for the high clearance. I'm actually going to take care of that this weekend if i have time though. Looks like the bolts in my fenders are going to serve another purpose. going to see if i can bolt up a support to the fender and then anchor it to the bumper or frame. similar to how guys mount or brace their fiberglass. gonna be a little trickier without my welder, but i think i'll be able to figure something out.

For the 30 miles i've driven since i got them on, they've been great. quieter than my last tires. they are definitely stiffer though. i used to run 42 psi front and 40 rear, but i'm thinking your suggestion of 40 front and 35 rear is probably the way to go
