forgot to post these yesterday.

when you trum the rear fenders, you'll have to take care of the factory bedside support in front of the rear tires. it mounts to the bedside with two bolts. all of my bolts imediately twisted the heads off, so i just cut the side tab off, and drilled a new lower hole and put a screw through the bedside and support.

you can see the small screw head below the bedside.

 

I did the same... There are two holes down there & I just bent the mount a bit and moved it to the forward hole.

 

my 1.75'' cut blew the second hole right in two, so i needed to drill another hole

I'm going to wear down my 295's a bit more before I make the jump myself.

i'm sure i'll rub more when i wheel, but for the sake of structural integrety, i'm going to wait and see where it rubs instead of hacking away as stuff that may not require such brutality

hopefully your cause for 35s is a little happier than getting a flat, and then fiding out that the replacements are on backorder for who knows how long

 

Ouch, I usually buy 5 of the same tire though so I hope I don't run in to that problem.

 

yeah, i only had 4. had a full sized spare that was good enough to get me by for the few days, but it was a completely different tire.

learned from it and bought 5 this go-round.

 

If 1.75" does that, I wonder what the guys that have to cut 2.5-3" off run into then. I might have to take off that much for 35s since my wheels eat fenders for lunch daily. They might leave the cab mount alone for the most part but not the fenders hmm. Glad you posted this.

 

you just have the pull the support over farther and drill your own hole.

with the offset on your wheels, you'll be needing to cut the cab mount.

 

Lo-Tek a-pillar gauge pod holder came in. As i was expecting from the reviews from others, the fit wasn't perfect and the color is a little off, but it's not bad, and it's pretty much the only option unless you want the steering wheel gauges. install only took about 3 minutes.

 

Good to know now wish I wouldn't have sold my jeep with the 35" MTRs still on it.

 

How do you have all your wires coming into the cab?

 

factory grommet is stretched out like a $2 whore.

roof light power comes in through two small holes i drilled in the roof rails and sealed up.
