    yeah, the fairings are trickey, but if you get them right they can really help. I built this one a little over a year for "xmadcowx". he's taken the acrylic fairing off a couple of times and says it's a night and day difference on the highway.

    His sits a few inches lower than mine. i think may build one with a front end similar to his, but then have the light bar taper off pretty quickly so i can have the utility of the flat rack from there back.

    I worked test crew Aerosonde 07-11... Left before it got stupid and the engine swap to the HFE... So you work for Fields? Mercado?

    they're not very expensive, but i'd imagine billit steel cost a little more than pouring some hot zink into a mold and calling it a day. beers coming your way for sure!

    No embarrassment here... it was a glooomy day and was playing with the gopro settings... :)

    It's funny though, my QUAD with everything was about 2500... Colin's was about 150 and the pic is better... lol

    it's just a little practice machine until i get the $600 deal + the $400 gopro (since my hero 2 crapped out):goingcrazy:


    what size is yours. i've debating betwen the 450 and 550. there's a sweet 6 blade out there now that can aparently lift a full sized DSLR camera :laugh:
