Love how bright all the lights are!! And they look good in the roof rack. Had any issues with extended travel and LR UCA's not being uni-ball? Im lookin at the same setup in front

Thanks, Paul. the LR UCAs work jsut fine with the extended travel coilovers. the balljoint on them is huge compared to stock which gives them plenty of travel. when i unbold the lower shock mount from the lower control arm, the suspension still has another inch of drop. it's not usable drop, because the CVs bind at that point, but it shows that the coilover is still the limiting factor in suspension drop.

how hard do you think it would be to fab up a straight bar like this but for an LED light bar? and do you think there would be too much glare off of the windsheild if it was a little more low profile to the roof itself?

the bar itself would be pretty easy to make, and using the stock mounting points, it's about as far back as my lights sit, and i don't get bad glare. mounting it lower would only help since the angle with the windshield is less. most likely though, he is running an electric actuator to a point further back on the roof for both bracing purposes and to adjust the light angle on the fly. if you were going to use a solid version (no actuator), you'd probably want it brace to somehting further back since that's a lot of torque to put on the bolts to the roof.

had a nice conversation with mjp2 earlier today regarding my rear LT plans. i'm doing it a little differently than your normal setup, but am very pleased to hear that my plans are actually "more efficient" in some ways.

also pumped because i realized i should be able to afford a nice shiny new set of 2.5'' x 16'' travel king double bypass reservior shocks come build time :)

think build is going to have to wait untill after tires though since mine could use a replacing.

shocks will be angled towards the tailgate instead of verticle or towards the cab.

that would be awesome, but from what i can tell they are a little too pricey. seem to be about $250 more per shock than the kings. i'll inquire about them next time i talk with DSM though. I may have DSM valve the kings digressively, similarly to the icons though. but they're the experts on that, so i'll let them tell me what's best
