I was going to post more pics, but I found that one real quick on Instagram and figured it was enough. Yours are better to show the effort you put forth to free my truck. I remember thinking I might bury you in my rooster tail. :)

I just realized, I was busy getting stuck going down a hill while Will was busy blowing up his diff trying to go up a hill at this exact moment pretty much.

Yes, that's exactly what was happening. As soon as I got to the bottom of the hill is when I got the call about from Will about his truck and we all headed back to the campsite to form a posse to go save him. But you guys pulled in before we could do so.

So the movers came yesterday and sure got a workout. due to all of my tools, they said that the truckload weighed almost twice the amount of a normal load for the square footage it took up.

furthermore, as part of getting an acurate weight for everything, they weighed my trailer seperately. it weighs just a hair over 1000 lbs......empty :anonymous:

That means that with a bursting at the seams load in the trailer (about 2000 lbs), i'd nearing the legal limit of needing trailer breaks. should be good for now, but I may build another axle for it down the road with brakes on it.

I'm impressed they moved the trailer! I would have figured they would have told you to get it yourself!

company told me i needed to move to houston......so the company pays for entire move :D I warned them that I had more than the average pile o' junk.

the driver said he's picking up a ford ranger the exact same way tomorrow and moving it to somewhere in arizona.
I asked him what the craziest thing was that he'd ever moved, and he said that he had a small helicopter in the back of that same truck, a couple years ago

Helicopters are relatively easy to move like that. My buddy drove a F350 from Orlando to Oregon and back to pick up a helicopter. Said it was a horrible drive having to pull the trailer that long and only being able to drive so fast.

He could only drive so fast because too fast would damage the helecopter? or just because it was a trailer in general? if it was because the speed could damage the chopper, that may be why they put this one in the enclosed truck.

No, he was pulling it in an enclosed trailer. Big trailer and big truck means slow speed I guess.

they have to move slow because the faster you go in those things the bumpier and more rattling you get sure you can haul balls somewhere with a trailer but everything inside will have rattled to shits. also a momentum thing i guess with bumps and such from the road? i think after watching ice road truckers a few times i kinda understand why they have to go slow lol well that show and physics
