been looking at some handles for my bed rack, but all of the jeep handles are $15-$20 a piece. found these ar tractor supply at $15 for a set of two. can't beat half price. they are made for side-by-sides, but essentially identicle to the jeep ones i was looking at.

    Thanks Adam!

what lights are you using on your new rack by the way? They look like lightforces, but i couldn't tell for sure. reason I ask is because i'm looking to upgrade the HID retros currently on my roof. I love the 7'' kragens on my bumper, so naturally the 4'' kragens are a top contender for the roof, but i'm looking for something to compare them too (4-6'' range)

I have 4 lightforce 170s up there. I wouldn't even consider anything else other than FYRLYT or RI

well that's the other option, an LED bar.

do the 170s come in a spot beam? i didn't see a lot of info on beam options in a quick search. right now i have 2 spot and 4 driving on the roof. i'd like to wap them out for all spot on the roof since the spot and two euros on my bumper, mixed with the head and fog lights cover my short and mid distance nicely.

The cool thing about LF is that they are adjustable like a Maglight if you twist the housing you can make the beam wider like a flood or tighter like a spot.
You can also get different colored filters for the lights to suit your conditions red/ green/ light blue/dark blue/ Infrared/ amber/ yellow...
The filters also come in different dispersion patterns as well.

i knew about the colored filters, and jsut read about the dispersion options they come in, but i didn't know you could adjust the beam. that's awesome.....and now the cylinder coming off the back of the light housing makes sense.

edit: and they really aren't much more than the 4'' kragens........i may have 6 of these things in the future :drevil:

They are tough as hell! I'm pretty rough on things and these lights have held up well. I hit a pole with them and they just bent back. There were no cracks or broken tabs just a few scratches on the lens cover.

well that's good news. my kragens are holding up great, but i had to replace one of the outer lights on my roof when it met a tree branch the thickness of my wrist, doing about 60mph. housing was ok, but it shattered the lense and cracked the reflector.....

i'll deffinately be keeping an eye out for them. wheeling buddy of mine has Amazon prime too, so i'll get free shiping through him :D

^^^^ that reminds me of a picture i saw of some KC carbons. i want to say it was camberg who crashed their truck. it actually brike the welded on light tabs off of their bumper, but the lights were fine.

i've also seen the video of them shooting one of the larger light forces. pretty impressive.

I'm really happy with mine. the 240s are gigantic and way more light than I will ever need but they are worth it. I have over a million candlea on the front of the truck, I can light up signs on the highway from over a mile a way.

I believe it. being able to see at night is addicting isn't it? only downside is you no longer show up in night photos.....i'll take the tradeoff though :D

quality lighting is one of those things that once you experience it, you never want anything less. that's why i want to replace what i have on the roof.

Mr. Boss-man is a jeeper, and made an order in some sticker group buy on his forum. surprised me with a pretty funny sheet of them on my workbench today.
