    just don't get the $30 Amazon/ebay cans. anything $75 + should be good. you probably don't need the $250 can though, unless you just have a thing for bling ;)

    If you have a filter on the passenger side cover, driver side connected to can, & can connected to upper intake plenum, then you have created a vacuum leak in as far as then MAF based system is concerned.

    Simply because the MAF is reading "X" amount of air coming across it through the intake. But the intake is also pulling air in from the catch can, through the filter on the passenger side cover. That air isn't metered. And thus the vacuum leak.


    Man, if you want your truck to run well for a long time, a catch can is a good investment.
