    I can tell that you have been through some sandy or silty waters before. ;)

    My drum shoes looked like that after about 30k miles. I used to forge through all sorts of muddy waters. Tha sediment just stays in the drums and grinds down the material on the shoes.

    Just one more reason why I don't like our drums.

    i'm sure that wears them out faster, but i wouldn't think aplying brake pressure to a wheel that's free spinningin the air would do much.

    whatever failed inside the drup failed when i was just creeping forward on flat ground, waiting for someone to got up their obstacle. then all of the sudden, no backpressure on the brake bedal.....

    new parts for both sides have been ordered.

    Not much need in Florida in my opinion at least. Plus LT is EXPENSIVE! Well done though up that hill. Just makes me jealous when you 4wd guys have all the fun.
