    We were curious about if the e-brake will bolt right up without modification, like the rest of it

    edit - No I do not think the ebrake would be interchangeable with each other. I would think the best bet would be to just go full on with the rear disk conversion.

    that's what we were talking about. if you were to do a full 4runner rear disc conversion. would you have to swap out the entire e-brake assembly all of the way up to the cab?

    Hey! You're supposed to be replacing the drums, not upgrading to discs.

    I thought the FJ was the straight swap.

    oh, I dont think so. My moms taco has the ebrake on the floor, similar to if not the same as my 4runner's ebrake. So I can only imagine it should accept the switch over just fine. however this is just from me eye balling both systems.

    all of the automatic trans tacomas have the floor e-brake. manuals have the hand brake.

    lol. maybe i'll do the swap next time I blow up the drums. we just got on the subject after we had bled the brakes and were just having some beers.

    what we're saying is that you shouldn't need a kit. with the exception of maybe the adaptor on the end of the e-brake cable, the brackets, calipers, and discs should all just bolt up.
