    currently July 1st, but that's riding on the issuance of a couple more permits that are out of our hands. so the date is still subject to change.

    Two days after tightening up the rear diff nuts, and not even a sign of any seeping. good to go :)

    no way in hell i'm breaking those things with a 6'' open end wrench. especially while contorted around the rear tire, trying not to lay in the puddle of break cleaner with my work clothes on.

    It wasn't bad at all took my time with it. I drove around a bit after and some fluid leaked out I tightened it all back up so let's see if it leaks again.

    Now the front diff....different story

    we're ready to go on our end. just waiting on the permits to come back that are out of our control.

    did you get preassembled 3rds, or are you setting up the mesh and everything on your own?

    hardest part about the front diff is plaging tetris with an 80 lb chunk of steel. found out that the key to an easy install is to losen the bolts that hold the steering rack on. once you do that, you have the extra room needed to slid it in and out of place.
