gootta thank John for that one

    thank ya :D

6 lbs heavier than the other tires i was looking at in the same size

    $25 a tire

they should be plenty durable. it's on a proven sidewall, and beneath the tread is twice as thick as a regular tire because of the way they remold them. so really, it's the tread pattern and on road grip that I will have to find out.

    what's a grenade jacket?

blowin all the moniez on the ATV eh?

just set up an appointment with firestone for saturday. putting on the 4 new ones, and usingthe two best of the 295 terra grapplers as spares. and getting yet another allignment

also talked to Kevin at ATO, and he's gonna get an extra set of high clearance bumper frame mounts cut with his next batch so I can be on my way with building my hi-clearance rear bumper :)

I was wondering how long it would be before you got around to the rear bumper.

yeah.....it's been banged around for a while now and starting to look pretty bad. trailer hitch has been the only thing that's saved it. however ironically, the trailer hitch is also why i haven't built one yet. I finally have enough downtime from towing that i can do without a hitch if needed during the build.

I'll have to look at yours. I do have plans for a really strong one though. Towing integrity is a huge priority.

it'll be a couple weeks before I can start. kevin is on vacation for a week aound the 4th, so i won't get the brackets until after that.

on another note, I lost a bump stop lol. not sure where, looks like the heat from welding it to the u-bolt plate melted it a little too much and it fell off of it's base somewhere along the way......hope it didn't go on the highway and do any damage

i'll probably get fox or kings just because they're more versitile than jounces

high sped ring would be fun......or you can swing by florida sometime. take the girls to disney and make a side trip to ocala national forest. to give an idea, i met a guy last year who used to train for the baja 500 there back in the late 80s/early 90s.

good point, i had forgotten about that.
i think i need to determine mounting location before anything, and go from there. 2 inch bumps in the front for sure, but i'm still on the fence for the rear between 2 and 4 inch. thinking about geting 4 inch and shimming them down to 2 inchers so it's reversible.
