Those are some nice trails. might have to ad mineral to the out west wheeling trip. that's cool seeing the lifts like that.

you punch a hole in your slider, or is it a deep gouge?

Did some quick measuring and a little mock up with the new parts. i'm guessing the trailer will have about a 4 inch lift after the new suspension is done. i can crank it higher with the threaded collars if needed, but i doubt i'll have a need to.

Deep gouge, thankfully. You should definitely come out west!

i'm planning on it. probably about a year and a half from now. wanting to drive cross country with the trailer and hit all of the big wheeling spots along the way. big places i want to hit are moab, and the pass that enters telluride from the back-side. if time permits, i'd like to spend a week running the baja 1000 course. that may have to be a second trip though.

no worries man. they are 285/70/17 Guard dogs, by treadwright. They are actually a little bigger than a standard 285, as they are actually 33.5s (acording to the tape measure)

Nice, I'm actually about to buy those, same size. Been looking at them for a few months. Which sidewalls did they send you? And did you get the D rated or E?

I got D rated. no need for E on our trucks. I called and asked what they had available. I was hoping they would have the terra grappler sidewall, but unfortunately they had no idea when the next time they got more 285 TGs would be. the other two options were BFG AT and Toyo AT. I chose the BFGs. I hate the BFG AT tread, but they have a good casing.

More trailer progress (sort of). Got my old Nittos mounted to some 17'' steelies off an FJ Cruiser.

Finally have a couple extra days off, so i'm going wheeling Sunday and working on the trailer suspension Monday and Tuesday.
