i agreed with the hood, Jason. all the pros have hood stickers you could even get it in silver for the ghost look since i know you aren't a sticker guy.

thanks myles. it's all too convenient to be able to pull all of your tools and geat anywhere the truck can go.

 

but Freeze has the sticker there, although I do think it looks good.

I'm tryin hopefully by spring I have an equally capable rig as urs.... We only got 1.5 yrs till we go cross country to beat up moab

 

by that time you get your 35s, and i'll complete my rear lt build.....setting goals.

i'm sending you a pm shortly about the measurements you asked for. also have a question or two about how you want the roof rack built. dimension kind of stuff.

 

you ever get a chance to put on that new hardware?

next time there's an opurtunity, and if you would like it, i think if i weld a bracket or two onto your rack that allow it to also bolt to the rail against the cab in addition to the sides, it could make it a little more stable. let me know what ya think.

 

This would be a good idea either way as coil isn't exactly nice to his stuff , broken driveshaft cough cough,

 

the original idea was to give it the ability to just losen the bolts and slide it to any point along the bed, but i figure a couple extra mount points wouldn't be too hard to undo if ever needed.

 

and technically, his driveshaft didn't "break"

 

Mounting to the front rail will help alot, I did my headache rack using the side and front rails, even though its just 1 bolt each side of the front its solid.

 

that's pretty much it.

i thought about putting them on when i first made it, but for some reason didn't (bad move on my part). Coil's has a ton of leverage resistance because due to the bracing legs mounting about a foot back from the forwards mounts, but he likes to run his ATV into it which means the more mounting points the better.

 

I havent had a chance to installthe them yet, Good idea Im going to need as much support we can add to it.
