    Check out my build thread.
Ok. looks like I'm going to have to make my own then. Possibly out a swing out tire carrier on there.

Amtrak really needs to start up an auto-train that goes cross country, making stops along the way, similar to the one that goes from VA to FL...... I'd be hopping on that thing constantly.

oh, and has anyone ever replaced their carrier bearing at home? I'm assuming you pop out the center u-joint, undo the big nut behind that joint, and then press off the bearing?

had mine replaced by a shop a couple years ago on another drive shaft, but haven't done one myself yet. I have a 12 ton shop press and a u-joint kit. anything else I need?

That makes two of us... How killer would it be to just jump on a train with your truck and save all that mileage going out west...

all you have to do is sit in the lounge car, drink in hand, and watch the country go by, 2-3 days later, and you wake up in moab :D

I even took my trailer on the train once or twice going between FL and VA. imagine being able to effortlessly take a truck AND fully loaded trailer across the country, with meals and "lodging" included for a little over $1000.

even with the short distance you'd have to back-track north, it's worth it. prices change a lot based on direction of travel and the season, but even then, It's not bad considering what it takes to drive or fly.

I don't understand why that isn't an option. I always thought it was until I looked into it. I think they would do pretty well, especially if it has a full bar on it :p

unfortunately, you can't access your vehicle for the duration of the trip. guess you could take the fridge on board and plug it in at your seat lol.

thanks, we got really lucky with the little guy. we behaved, learns quickly, and isn't a yappy little bitch like most dogs his size seem to be.

 I've made worse decisions

lockers and suspension "overhaul" (aka: it's all getting replaced) before MOAB. 2016 trip is the goal, but who knows. that's a ways away.
