Anyone out there currently applying to colleges? I recently just applied to transfer to a bunch of csu's and uc's. Just today i got turned down for cal poly slo. Pretty bummed because i thought i had a pretty good chance of getting in. 3.7 transfer gpa, an AA, and all lower division coursework done, especially transferring from a community college. Major is business admin/ economics. Thinking about cal maritime academy for marine transportation (got accepted). I dunno what im asking, just ranting, tell me about your college acceptances/ or not getting accepted :)

I'm currently at OCC, finishing my lower division general edu. I plan on transfering to CSULB or UCLA. My major is Buisness Administration with an emphasis in finance.

Are those the only two schools you've heard back from?

I got accepted to the University of Alabama, LSU and Auburn. I chose Alabama because of the people there. My grades were decent and my ACT score was low, but I still got in!

I got accepted into UCCS, UC Denver, and NAU. Those are the ones I applied to and I chose and currently am at UCCS. I think I had a 3.3 avg in high school and I got a 1610 on my SATs.

Ya it depends what major you apply for too. Business is impacted. You get priority because you live in that area already. Study hard, play hard
