I'm new to Flagstaff too but I did come across a nice trail, nothing major but still scenic. Snowbowl road off of 40 just west of town.

Cinders are fun. The view from up too is amazing. Alex, Jake, Patrick, and I did the cinders back in August. Definitely recommend going with atleast one more truck tho. Chances are someone will get stuck. Its like the dunes.

Ya, I wouldn't do winter wheeling alone! Last year when I was up there everything seemed closed but I didn't know any "real" spots!

I would also highly recommend bringing another truck, me and my a couple of my friends went up there and we got stuck ontop of some huge hill. But we got out with only a few hours of digging :D
