Yep, Utah was jacked up for the game...It's the goddamn sugar bowl...they should be jacked up!

Wow dude, you sound like a sore loser. If your team fucked up and decided to take a day off that's one thing, but to call the team that just handed your ass to you on a platter "classless" is regrettable.

Why don't you show some class and lose like a real man...with dignity.

You've never been pissed after a poor showing by your team? Get over yourself.

Whatever. I'd like to see what Utah could do in a real conference. I want to know how they'd do against a schedule that includes UGA, LSU, Ole Miss, UT and UF. Utah was jacked up for this game, and we were disappointed we weren't in the NC game. We didn't deserve to be there.

Tonight sucked, and all I have to look forward to now is next season. We lacked depth, and that showed in the end of the season.

no way they would hold up in a real conference.

However, i dont think bama shouldnt have been in the NC game, bc florida is way better and proved that in the SEC game.

so Utah came out and played hard. It was one game against an SEC team. Put Ole Miss up there in that division and they would win it every year.

I think I heard somewhere that Utah has the highest bowl winning percentage of any team that has been to 10 or more bowl games they are like 11-3. They have also been undefeated 2 of the past 5 years. Not a Utes fan I am just saying give them props..... The ROLLED the Tide last night. No excuses for Bama they got spanked plain and simple.

I absolutely agree with everything you said. At some point in the season I would have said that we deserved to be there, but the last two games have proven otherwise. Florida is clearly the better team, and I think they're going to win it all.

We came out flat because we were arrogant and thought we were better than the freaking Sugar Bowl. We had some problems on the O-line caused by a stupid decision and an injury, but the rest of the problems we had were because we didn't show up. Utah deserved to win that game, but pull them into the SEC or even the Pac-10 and I bet you never see an undefeated season again.

I understand why your pissed, but it's a game. I'm a Big East fan and WVU has beat in bowl games, UGA, GT, Oklahoma, and UNC. We have been told that we were outclassed at almost every bowl game. Could they do it every day ? NO. All teams can win or lose, don't let your history rule your future.

Anybody watch the UK / ECU game. Not a marque game I know, but man was it a good one. That fumble recovery for a touchdown by big 95 for UK was the shit. How about that stiff arm jack he gave the ECU QB on his way in, just about decapitated the boy!

You guys probably have already talked about the Orange Bowl. Why couldn't Cinci continue playing like they did on that awesome opening drive? I know, I know...things settled down and VT made adjustments, but I'd like to have seen Cinci win which I think they could have.

I think the whole point of saying Utah had an undefeated season is because it is so hard to do in any conference, and it is getting harder. 7of the first 8 BCS National Champions where undefeated 98-05 Since then not one has been an undefeated team and undefeated seasons are going to be more and more rare due to parity. Even ESPN's favorite team the seemingly invincible USC Trojans get knocked off by a lesser team seemingly ever year. Dont hate that what makes NCAA football so great.

And how about that Cotton Bowl. I know Ole Miss came in at 6-6, but man the way they handled Texas Tech...I know it sounds crazy but the way they played yesterday, they could've put up a fight with anybody in the top 5 IMHO, that was an awesome game!

Oh yeah, I've been pissed plenty...I'm a falcons fan LOL. I was rooting for bama in this game. I lived in Alabama for 5 years, I know all about how big bama football is. But I've never been so pissed as to call the opponent "classless" They showed up to play, Bama didn't. That's all there is to it.

Yeah, falcons fan here too. As much as i love the SEC, sometimes you just have to give credit where its due.

We didn't show up to play, and that's piss-poor on our part. But I didn't appreciate their players standing over ours after a tackle or broken up pass. They were dominating us, and that should have been enough. There was once that I specifically remember being surprised a flag wasn't thrown for unsportsmanlike conduct. I'm not being a bammer when I say that... he really did stand there looking down at our guy for a while. It was after we missed a pass in the end-zone.

As Utah fans want to claim, they're a big-time program now. Two undefeated seasons in the last few years is impressive. It's time for them to start acting like they've been there.
