Ditto... although it might be funny if all three of the powerhouse Big 12 South teams lost in their bowl games. Tech already played their part... Texas tries tonight, and I think that FL is going to beat OU on Thursday.

I don't have a dog in this fight, though. Just hoping to be entertained.

Man, as much as it would be funny to see the big 3 12 teams go down...I just can't stand OSU fans...they are right up there with UF and USF fans on the annoying scale...plus of the big 3 Texas is the only one that is respectable IMO...could be a damn good game...or another waste of a BCS game staring OSU.

If OSU loses this game, they should have their rights to contend in BCS games revoked for 5 years. Give somebody else a shot!

(Before anybody says it, I would apply the same to my own team... if Bama reaches and loses 3 BCS bowls in a row, kick us out for a while! One down....)

    O-H! I-O!

I am a huge Buckeye fan tonight. I don't think they will be able to pull it off, but I sure would like to see Texas fall flat on their whinny faces.

I'm rooting for another beat down for Ohio State. I agree with the idea that another loss for Ohio State in a BCS games should result in them having to sit out a year or two. With how they have been crushed in their last couple of bowl games and still get so much attention especially with how down the Big 10 is recently is beyond me.

Mississippi showed what an average SEC team playing like its hair was on fire could do to a disappointed Big12 team. Harrell and Crabtree were not excited to be playing in the cotton bowl and it was apparent.

But, they were there to play.....and to win. Otherwise, the coach shouldnt have played them.

    Go SEC.

Going by the quote of "we aren't really feeling the Cotton Bowl" and the lack of focus and fundamental play leads me to believe that Tech as a team was really there to win.

Don't get me wrong, they lost in a fair game, and that is what really matters in the end. I just don't think that it is particularly representative of what Tech was capable of a few weeks ago.

Much like Alabama not being nearly as effective as they had been before the loss of Andre Smith. In the end it matters on how you play against the man on the other side of the ball. But I don't think that Utah could have done that week in and week out in the SEC or the Big 12. Their accomplishment is amazing, going undefeated in any conference is tough, but does not over shadow that they don't play the highest level of competition for 8 weeks. Even still, depending on how the next 2 BCS games go, I could easily seeing them being voted number 2 in the AP.

Looking like another loss for Ohio State, defense couldn't close the deal at the end of the game.

Wow...what a different game the second half! Man, McCoy to Crosby in what, under .20? What an outstanding play to seal the deal. I give OSU props though, they played em down to the very end.

Side note: Is it just me or is Colt McCoy's mom a hot little MILF? And was the tight little blond next to her his sister or girlfriend....she was smokin! Looked like Jessica Simpson's twin sister!

I thought the same thing when I saw McCoy's mom. Glad I wasn't the only one.

I didn't turn the game on until about 2 minutes left in the first half. I couldn't believe it was just 6-3. I'm glad I stuck it out to watch the rest, though. WOW!

I never even noticed the mom. All I saw was the blonde every time they showed his family.

You know what play didn't get enough attention in my opinion? The pass play before the game winner, the reciever went down hard and you could tell he was hurting bad but if he stayed down they would have burned a time out and lost momentum...he made himself get up on his own and hobble back to the line...that's heart...can't teach that.
