Haha! I think I struck a nerve! I won't mention the game, then.

    Mathematically speaking, though, 34 > 10, right?

Ouch! That hurt a little. (Good point, though... about winning the ACC, not what you said about Bama!)

I guess I just meant that you'd expect a conference-champion-caliber team to put up more of a fight.

nd isn't taking this well, is he?

    HAH!

I'm certainly thankful for the venue, though. I thought I'd heard reports that they expected Lightening and Thunder in the area that night. Sure didn't appear that way in the dome.

Also, somebody just forwarded this to me. I thought it was worth posting, for nd's enjoyment:

I'm down with that... It'll just take a year or 2. We have to allow him to get a couple of his own recruiting classes in. Not getting Pryor really hurt this years team as he could have been electric with a true Spread genius behind him

Just shows that it takes years to implement the spread. If Meyer had never gone to Utah and changed their offense into the shell of what it is today, they would still be nothing. It was a well deserved win for sure, but in 1 or 2 more years, the Wolverines will be back. No one expects Michigan to do much of anything this year and that's ok (hell most people picked Utah to win because of the inexperience of the offense at Michigan and alot of national writers were saying it's really not an upset because UTAH actually got more Top 25 votes than Michigan lol,), (kinda expected when you lose 4 starting O linemen, your #1 and #2 QBs, your Superstar RB, Top 3 WR.... and I could go on and on). Once Coach Rod gets "HIS" guys in that offense... watch out.

I think that Michigan will be in a similar boat with Alabama. Solid coach coming in is great, but you need patience. I still don't have rediculous expectations for this season, but will start to expect to contend for the SEC next year. Michigan will be back, too.

Glad to see you hold us all in such high regard. I will represent your shit-list with pride, since your team is the first one represented on Alabama's Meat Pole.

^^^ Exactly. Look at Florida. When Meyer took over they were nothing compared to what they are now. It takes time.... and solid recruiting which Coach Rod does VERY well.

I'm not worried about this year, I know it is going to take time. We just got a verbal commitment from a 4 star qb from Cali. Saw a bunch of clips from his games, he can flatout play. He is exactly what Michigan needs at the qb position for the spread.
