Last I heard it was. I think trail damage says it is too. I remember wanting to run it last year until my biddy said it wasn't all open.

 

They closed the mud pits the rest of the trail is still open

Also count me out for the left hand trail run I am getting a tattoo done the 14th

So the 14th. Sean266 lifted and tires are done so get to try another Slapps74 lifted truck on the trail.

 

14th should be sweet. Chris, I took my rig out today, did great, tires and clearance make a HUGE difference......whoda thunk it. anyways none of my shit fell off or broke, so it pastes the test. thanks again! Just need to trim up the inner fenders a bit so its not rubbing. Bob took some pics and videos, they are pretty sweet, im sure they will be up soonish.

some highlights from Saxon Mountain..

alot of tight spaces and steep mountain sides




then we found snow


ATRAC showed up and made some good paths

ATRAC + skinny pedal = unstoppable

 

most technical part of the trail..off-cambered, icy/snowy section with very steep mountain side inches from our downhill tire, and not much dirt to gain traction on...

then shortly after we were greeted with a whooole lotta snow, so we were forced to turn around..


so we decided to head over to the spring creek area to mess around on some trails..

but not before jace got stuck (he really wanted to use his new winch)

up to the doors deep


so back to idaho springs we went

 

found a sick mud pit

jace needs new tires baaaad



but i didn't see what the big deal was...just needed some skinny pedal

although the snow dictated where we went and how far we could ride, it was still a great day on the trails...


p.s. jeff, fix your damn suspension so you can make the next one!

So how deep is that? Did you notice at the time it happened or later on? What were you aired down to?

Sorry for all the questions just curious. I noticed Duratrac's have soft side walls even at 35psi and work great at just 20psi. Just wondering how that happened.
