^^^ funny you should mention the application method, but I think that topic would be jacking this thread.

Yes, if there is one thing we've learned here is too much is not a good thing. It does help to apply where it will stay warm, before you step out on a cold night. When you arrive at your destination, and hang up your coat the sweatness will be ready to be enjoyed, and you didn't have to over do it to get its desired effect.

to hell with all that girly foo-foo smellin stuff, you wanna smell like a chick, fine, go right ahead but if you really want to impress the ladies, le' oder de Maple, yeah, you roll in, those birds be like, "My god your cologne smells just like Maple Syrup! You smell so sweet, I just want to lick you all over!"
As you lay your 20lb axe on the bar, adjust your flannel and hike a steel-toe boot onto the foot rail you casually say to her "That's 'cuz baby, it IS Maple Syrup"
And as you both walk out to your truck, you can further impress your date by punching out that bear that followed your sweet scent into the parking lot.
That, gentlemen, is a MANLY man!

Chloroform, works every time. Since I drive a LB, it allows for extra storage, for those gains throughout the night.

Rob, I noticed you dont' have an avatar. Until now... Do it.
I like to go a step further and order the girl a drink. But I stick my hand down my shorts and rub my finger on my taint, and then rub my finger against the rim of their glass. Drives them crazy, and they don't know what hit
'em. Bitches love not knowing what hit 'em.
LOL. What, no Polo? Oh, wait, did that go out of style after the 80s?

Man, I think you're the only other person that I know so to speak that wears Creed. People will ask what I'm wearing and I'll tell them only to have a blank stare in return. Creed has some amazing stuff. Aventus is good too, but IM smells much better IMHO. Irish Green Tweed is unique but very pleasant. Next on my list: Original Vetvier, Bois du Portugal, and maybe Virgin Island Water for summer.

Also known as the Canadian aphrodisiac.

I think I may have a tester; if I do, next time I see you I'll bring it

98-01 here. Add Dolce y Gabbana and any Polo to that list. Ugh.

Taint juice. Hm. Wonder what the projection and longevity is. Only one way to find out...

IM is the best IMO. In other places I've lived I could buy it in stores or I'd pick it up while I was visiting family in Europe but, here in Mississippi it's just not available. It can be bought on line of course but, I'm always concerned about getting the fake shit.

Wife gave me a bottle of Imaginary Authors "The Soft Lawn" for Christmas.
Very nice, mellow scent that is not overpowering.
I also like "Falling Into the Sea"

There are a couple of other IA frags that are very good, but they are a bit too potent for wearing to the office... more "outdoor" frags.

I've had pretty good luck buying off Amazon, but usually I buy from a boutique retailer, Creed's website, or Nordstroms. Go to Basenotes.com; they have pretty accurate reviews as well as some really good tips on where to buy the real deal. On their forum, they have a sale/swap section where you can find outstanding deals from time to time.
