Just dropped the truck to get painted, curious who's changed the color on a newer truck. After a few years of hard wheeling it's time to fix carnage. I'm going with a matte metallic cement.

Are you doing a full paint job..door jams..engine bay ect... or just outside of truck? Is the paint and clear in one?
    What's that cost?
Make sure to take lots of pics..we need more threads on full paint jobs

It's a full custom paint job so I'm expecting it to be pretty good. I don't want to talk cost but will post pics when it gets torn down and prep starts.

Nothing matches a factory paint job.

If I did a lot of wheeling and was ruining my paint job with it I would go with a full Line-X instead. Repaint is just too expensive and introduces it's own risks on top of it's just going to get ruined again.

I'm geeking out on this! I bet this is what people feel like on those TV shows when their car is getting tricked up. I really think it'll turn out BA. The shop doing it has their name on it too and they put out crazy good work.

Linex has its merits but I think it's just ugly as hell as a paint job. Cant wait to see the full paint job on your truck. Matte really works on these trucks. Upload lots of pics.

Will do and agree, that's the main reason I didn't linex.
