I'm interested in buying a 2016 TRD OR with Premium & Technology Package -- I like Blue color, but on the Toyota website (build your own section) it says that the Premium & Technology Package is only available in Gray and Black. Is this because of current availability or are they simply not building TRD OR's in bBlue with the Premium & Tech package? And if so, is this likely to change?

Bahahahaa....I've seen the same thing. I've also heard (in the INFERNO thread) that you can PUSH the issue and they might build it for you. I'm willing to guess.....that's probably only if you put down a deposit and commit to buying.

That's my problem also...I want everything (more or less) in an Inferno Access Cab sport. Something like that won't pop up at a dealership - I'll have to order it and beg & push them to build it with Premium & Tech w/ options package. I'll also want them to throw in a Homelink mirror off a limited too!! LOL

The website only shows what is currently available for sale within your sales region. You will need to go to a dealership and talk to an salesman. In the event that what you desire isn't in the immediate pipeline, the inventory manager can take a dealer allocation and spec it out to your particular build specifications.

Be warned going into this that it is not a quick process. If you want a DC long bed, even longer. Toyota builds particular packages at pre-determined times because it affects the speed of the assembly line. Tech and towing packages add extra steps in the manufacturing process, so those vehicles are built on a pre-planned schedule. DCLBs with tech, towing, and JBL are a unicorn.

If you're near Austin TX (or merely in Gulf States region) I can recommend a guy to talk to. Outside of that, you need to go into the dealership.
