Looking to purchase my first Tacoma. Looking at a 2017 TRD Sport 4x2.

I'm torn on the colors. My first choice was inferno; but then I saw it in person. Some days I love it, and other days it looks like the Dukes of Hazzard and I wonder if I'll be kicking myself for getting an orange truck.

I like the magnetic gray and Barcelona Red as well.

The red looks much darker in person than it does in the pics on this thread.

Silver Sky Metallic sounds like it would suit you, MGM is also a safe choice.

    Good luck.

Get the Inferno, you won’t regret it. Had Silver 2006 for 11 years and have mainly owned silver or White for past 25 years.

Got the Inferno last April and I get compliments on it almost every day.

My first Toyota was a 1975 Hilux, then a new red '79 FWD. my third was a Barcelona red '99 Tacoma. I wrecked it in 2005 and got another Barcelona red Tacoma. Last week I put a deposit on a '18 Barcelona red Tacoma. I think I see a pattern developing.:)

I had a 16 Barcelona red and traded it for a 17 blazing blue pearl. When it was clean, the red looked amazing, but I saw a bazillion other red cars and trucks everywhere I went. I like the blue a lot better and it was actually my first choice when I got the 16 but none were around and I was in a hurry. Long story short, get the color you want or spend some time looking at everyone else driving the same color you have and wish you had gotten the color you wanted.

Inferno is a color that grows on you so much that it has become my absolute favorite color. I've become a little obsessed with it o_O.

The blazing blue is another wonderful color as well.

I've really grown to like the Taliban tan as well (ha...LOL). Makes me want to see an olive drab color on these things.

You really can't go wrong with any of the color choices though IMHO.
