    Same as everybody else...
    My grandson gave me a decepticon emblem for my truck. I don't feel it's quite ready for it, still needs a lift and a few other things before I'd feel okay about it. I like yours though, I thought it looks cool, besides it's your truck right!

    What primer did you use? I have some self etching primer that I used for my steel bumpers, I wonder if I can use that on the plastic too. I'll have to check when I get back home. Thanks for the info.

    i just used whatever primer i had laying around. so hopefully mine holds up. if not, ill strip it all and start over. it was such a small easy job since the billet insert is easy to take out.

    you can use acid etching primer on plastic I used when I painted my interior pieces as well. the sun would shine in and hit the silver and blind me. so it got primed and a few coats of satin black.
