It takes about 5 minutes per side, very easy. Rob Daman did an installation video to give you an idea how easy it is.

How's the quality, I could care less they're not OEM bumper caps after all they're just plastic, was more concerned with the paint job.

I am very particular and the quality was equal to the OEM covers from a build/mold quality. No issues with material, paint or install. Paint is perfect.

    I highly recommend these covers!

Awesome, I was hesitant at first but $118 to get rid of that f-ing chrome, I figured I'd try it. Thanks man!

Yes. I watched a couple of YouTube videos for the uninstall/ install and once the OEM’s were off the new ones slid right on without problems.

Took about 30 minutes for me...

I'm pretty handy in the garage / working on stuff, but always a bit nervous. I watched a few videos, one guy recommended using tape to reinstall the alligator clip another said don't bother with it.

I used the tape method to get the clip in position. my hands were a bit large to get it positioned...

Not color matched but the plasti-Dip cost $6 and didn’t take that long to take apart and put together (way longer waiting on dip to dry).

Havnt put the clip back on yet. Probably end up repainting the shells as it was my 2nd time using it.

Hey thanks to everyone who's recommending bumpershellz. My son found them through a youtube video, and usually I won't order anything until I do my research but I went ahead and ordered the armor coated set. Of course not doing the research put my OCD over the edge so I came back to TW to see if anyone else had experience with them. OCD has been appeased. Thanks again everyone, this TW community rocks.

What’s the point of these? Cover damaged parts?

It’s in the thread title... color match (or black)

Typically advisable to fix or replace damaged parts.

They could be used to cover damaged parts, but in my case I just want to hide the chrome on my rear bumper without actually having to replace the bumper. I got the black armor coated ones so they should be a pretty good match to the factory bedliner-type coating in the bed. Once that's done I think the only chrome I'll have left are the Tacoma emblems on the doors and tailgate.

Finally got them installed for a couple weeks, paint match is pretty nice. Ended up super gluing the metal clip in place to reinstall the bumper. Overall great deal for $120
