No I definitely needed spacers. I used 1.5" synergy spacers that I've had on for about 3 years and no issues. The H3 backspacing is 5.5" which is pretty bad.

Oh okay, yeah wasn't sure on it's backspacing... Surprises me, but I think they look killer on your taco, hombre. Helluva build thread you've put together. The transformation has been awesome to read through.

Hey thanks man, I get looks everyday. Now to get these TRD headers installed come tax time and it'll really open up the supercharger.

    No thread jack intended.

Lol believe it or not I want to redo the seats so if you're in the market for full premium leather seats... They'll definitely fit your double cab.

I don't mind the white steelies on white trucks. I think white on silver with the black Softopper would start to look like a carnival ride, LOL.

I loved the FJ steelies until the black faded and turned brown:rofl:

I might just have to save up for those RAY10s. I'm not a fan of simulated beadlocks, but I think I could get over it in this case. I must admit those copper editions look pretty badass on that black Tacoma in your "Introducing the RAY10" post.

Glad I found this post I just ordered a set through discount tire warehouse 235/80/17 wildpeak Falken at3's for $139 a tire. I was nervous going this skinny but I live in Montana with a lot of snow, and its hard to argue with that price...

That is a good deal. I was eyeballing the Falkens. I think I've settled on the 235s. They'll do just fine where I'm going.

Huge compliment! :D Want it to look like a truck and not an advertisement for aftermarket companies or like all the others :D:rofl:
It's not easy going against the grain, I commend you OP.;) I'm trying whatever it takes to get him to go white steelies, does it show? May just have to do mine... But powdercoating isn't cheap. Maybe white rattle can, just to see it? I need to find the steelies first.

I've become a practical guy as I've grown older. I choose utility first. Don't get me wrong. I can appreciate a well-built rig.

Plus, I have those things ... what are they called? Oh ya! Responsibilities. If I didn't have a car payment, student loan payment and a mortgage, I'd be dumping stupid money into my truck.

I build road and mountain bikes as a hobby. I have a habit of removing stickers for exactly that reason, especially from rims.

I've read good things about those tires. They were on my short list. Gonna look huge next to your old tires.

IMG_1036.jpg Because color matched steelies would look hilarious on mine, I'm limited to 3 colors: 1. black (stock look, clean) 2. White (retro) 3. Tan (to match the topper)
