Color Matched Stock Grille?

after some searching and looking at a bunch of other Tacos, I cannot find a grille that I am just willing to shell out money for. I like the Pro (faux too) grille, but I don't love it. and a bunch of people around me already have it. I have looked at the few other grilles available and with the TSS sensor I just hate how they look. so, I have been thinking of just color matching the chrome ring around my stock TRD Sport grille. Or even having the whole thing sprayed matte black. I am just wondering if any of you guys have done something similar? I know the ring around it would look good painted black, just not sure about Super White. and still not sure about the main grille being painted. what say you guys???

I got mine at AutoZone and works great. I bought the wide tape so I could black out all badging and trim. Works great but it needs to be 60 degree temp to activate the adhesive.

I dig that first pic. that is something exactly what I am looking for. chrome ring and badge are gone and the grille looks way better. nicely done!
