Color Matching Pro Grille Letter Overlays

Waiting for Barcelona Red.

 

I'll be working on them tomorrow hopefully. Paint is still a bit fresh.

Anymore photos from a little further away? Since they're overlays it makes the typeface a little more bubbled and rounder, yeah? I'm looking for a flat, non-glossy black as similar as possible to the grill itself - is that an option?

 

Yes it does make it look bolder and thicker. Unfortunately with the paint process I use (adhesive promoter, 2k primer, basecoat, and a few coats of clear to reduce orange peel effect) it makes the letters rounder as well. The only option I would have would be a matte black color but I have not gotten to that color yet and could possibly be about 3 weeks before I start up on that one.

Also there appears to be different types of letters for the pro grilles I have found. Some are round and some have line creases that make it look flat. Unfortunately I couldn't replicate that.

 

No problem dude! I'll keep an eye out for if/when you announce black if I haven't found an alternative. I have had your glove inlays for many years and they're still holding up perfectly.

 

Barcelona Red are now available along with Magnetic Grey.

Pardon the overall dirt but I cleaned the area where the grill letters thoroughly before applying! These are fantastic!!!!!!! Truly 20 cuts above the crappy Tuffskinz I originally bought! Thank you @tacos4cheap !!! Tremendous work and quality service!

 

Those might actually get me to go with the pro grill... anyone got a pic of those on an Inferno?

Just an update. Unfortunately I am having some malfunctions with my equipment and getting fisheye on my paint. I am waiting on some replacement parts but it is delaying me on new colors right now.

Sorry guys I have been having issues with the performance red lately and has delayed most of my colors. But I do have 2 more colors available now. Lunar Rock and matte/satin black. The black is clear coated with a matte clearcoat which they use on vehicles. This does give it a satin look sometimes (and not 100% matte). Its what you see on the matte black cars driving around. If all goes well I should have performance red up by the end of the weekend (depending if my equipment doesn't crap out again).

Real sorry guys. I did a short run and they sold out. Unfortunately I dont have a timeline right now as I am waiting for my son to be born (anyminute now) but luckily ill be on paternal leave and should have most colors up sooner than before.
