Off topic here but just wanted to say I LOVED that radiant red color....my 2004 AC TRD was that color....oh man was that a great looking truck. And it never looked as good on the 2nd gen as it did on the 1st gen...

Dealer here said all flares come unpainted, but there are two variations. One type is the smooth finish ones you see on the SR5, sport and limited which come unpainted. The other type is the slightly texture matte black flares that come on the OR.

Look like city trucks, not an offroad truck.

Looks more like an offroad truck, not a base stripper.... also an SR5 like the above.

Well, I have Quicksand color-matched fender flares and am looking to trade for the off-road flares. Let me know if you might be interested in swapping.

I like the off road black fender flares, it makes a nice contrast to the paint. The black flares are definitely needed on the quicksand color in my opinion. The black flares on the quicksand makes it look a whole lot better.

sorry to bring up an old post, but does anyone know what wheels these are? They look kinda like the sport wheels but without the black accents.

Having just gone through the purchase of factory TRD Off Road (Black, Matte ) over fenders I know you can also buy the paintable version too. Just FYI they are two different parts numbers and will cost you about 700. Unfortunately I will be returning mine because I would have to drill holes and cut notches in the body to put them on my SR-5, long story. At any rate they are available at trdshop.com

If I was to color match them...and saying IF....theyre fender flares, attached wheel wells and guaranteed to chip if theyre painted....So Id probably take them to a Line-X shop and have them color matched there...that way the color is gonna last.
