Haven't been too fond of red but it was the only sc the dealer had and the last one they would be getting. It is starting to grow on me......

Just food for thought, White, Silver & Gray are the easiest colors to sell. If it wasn't every dealer that I've ever sold or traded a vehicle to, or worked for wouldn't ask me every single time "So what color is this ******* you want to trade?" Once they find out its white or silver they are more motivated to over allow on the trade price.

Colors like bright blue & red are most dificult, possibly a tie with black. As people instinctively believe black will be the most dificult to maintain, among hottest in areas with extreme temps, hard to see at night etc...

People still have a perception that they will get more speeding tickets with red.

Again, I don't have anything against different colors on vehicles, just providing a behind the scenes input from a guy who used to sell cars, then became a used car mgr at a few dealers.

I think motoring would completely suck, if the landscape on the highway or our parking lots were just a sea of white, silver and gray. Unfortunately, it's looking more and more like that these days. People seldom have any imagination or originality when selecting a color for their car.

I absolutely would have bought a bright red TRD/OR had they still made it. I don't care for ruby, maron, dark red. But straight red has always been a favorite on almost any cars/ trucks.

My SR5 is red; I would have likely preferred dark grey (MGM?), but wasn't worth a wait; so I'm happy. Only colors I didn't consider were white, silver, or light gray.. :)

No, because I know a true clean black truck does not exist. :D
Silver hides dirt and age best and white hides scratches the best.

Don't care. Whatever I like on the dealer lot that we can haggle on. Kind of like a surprise.

Had a red Tacoma, then a silver one and now Impulse Red Pearl. I choose this one over a black one. Black sucks in the desert.

I liked MGM the most of the colors available when I purchased my Tacoma.

Had I been purchasing the truck a few years ago, it would have been Indigo Ink, no questions asked. The 2012-2013 Nautical Blue Metallic didn't do it for me. My fiancee's tC is that color and I always felt it looked too purple for what it was. Of course in 2014 Blue Ribbon Metallic comes available.

Right now part of me wishes I rethought the whole Off-Road AccessCab thing (I guess getting married in the near future and the realization kids are in the picture makes you think sometimes), I probably would have said eff-it and gone Baja with the Double Cab. Of those options, I'd probably go with what. My last Toyota truck was white. Since I wanted an older one, I wasn't able to be selective on color (other than not wanting anything in the brown/tan range) and ended up with a white one and liked it much more than I thought I would.

I fully agree on everyone's comments on black. My STi is black and while it looks amazing when it's clean and isn't in the sun that shows the swirls that I keep fighting, when it's dirty/dusty or in the right light, it's no bueno.

My Dad is an OU alum so, of course, it's always a red truck for him if he has the choice.

I like Olive Drab, always have. When I was a little kid it was my favorite color and six years in the Army (back when the uniforms were still mostly solid OD) didn't change that. I always liked the way the sodium vapor lights on campus made my red truck look OD green when I was in college.

Here is a lovely pink Taco that might appeal to some of you. :D

Always wanted white. But when pyrite came out I started leaning that way. They had the truck I wanted in pyrite, and that sealed the deal. Don't regret it one bit, but if it wasn't going to be pyrite it would have been white for sure.

I loved my black Sport when it was new. But the love wore off real quick. Hard as hell to keep clean and living on a farm was not the best. The silver DC I had has been my favorite color.

Wouldn't say regret. I still love my BSP, but I wouldn't drive it off a cliff if it were a silver streak or speedway blue.

My first Tacoma was Pyrite, and I loved it. Sadly it got taken out by a flatbed truck. I jumped into an MGM and really regretted it. I sold it after 6 months because it just didn't do it for me. A year later and I just bought a Barcelona Sport. Every time I saw one go by I would break my neck staring at them. Now that I have one, the love is back! Wouldn't trade it for anything.

When I was planning what I wanted on my truck, Spruce Green Mica and the dark blue (don't know the official name) were my first two choices and MGM was my third choice. I don't regret it, per se, but if I could've found what I wanted in one of the above mentioned colors, I would've taken that one.
