Color regrets...

Yup do that and some IronX for the fallout.

 

I still love my Barcelona Red Tacoma. However, I would just about kill for a VooDoo Blue model.......... that blue in person is pure WANT for me.

 

nautical blue certainly is NICE when clean. In the sunlight and clean is one of the nicest colors I have seen.

 

Voodoo blue is deadly.

 

1 voodoo
2 cement and cavalry
3 inferno and quicksand
4 black and white
5 every other color

My truck is MGM. It is probably the sharpest of all available colors, when shined up...but its never shined up! I also think MGM, silver, white, black and red nicely stand the test of time. Not sure about Quicksand, Cement, Voodoo, etc. That said...get the color you love.

 

If I had to do mine again I'd probably get the MGM 2020 Pro.

 

I had my heart set on inferno. Test drove one and parked it in the shade. It looked red. I didn't like that at all. Then was doing the paperwork for a quicksand one. Wife ultimately put the foot down on it and I'm glad she did. I ended up with a white one. My neighbor has a quicksand. And it has lost its appeal to me and him both. Very happy with the white DCLB

 

Right now I have a 19 pro in White, a 17 86 "Halo" white 06 2500 Silverado in white, 89 Jeep Grand Wagoneer in white & a 72 GMC K15 Grand Sierra in white. Plus a few white motorcycles. I almost picked a Cement OR rather than the Pro, but they would not make me as good of a deal (they had several white Pros) They had a Voo Doo, but honestly it would have been too much for me. I probably would have went for the Army Green if I were buying a 20.

 

I just got a new 2020 TRD Sport in Voodoo Blue about 4 weeks ago. Been getting lots of compliments on the color. Reminds me of my dad’s 2007 FJ in Voodoo Blue.

Sort of.

My favorite color for any vehicle tends to be green, closely followed by blue. Army Green wasn't even a thing on the horizon when I bought my truck, and a Pro was out of the question for me as was waiting a year to hope Calvary Blue came down to the Off Road(bought my 18 in December of 2017), so Blazing Blue Pearl was the only blue or green open to me, and from pictures what I thought I'd get. But, when it came down to actually making the choice I just didn't love the color in person, I thought it was a bit too bright/metallic and thought I'd get sick of it, so I went for MGM. I almost immediately regretted it, I kinda felt like I'd subconsciously talked myself out of getting the interesting color and gone for something safe and boring instead. But, not long after me one of my coworkers got a blazing blue Taco and after seeing them parked next to each other every day over weeks and months, MGM continued to grow on me, and I DID get sick of the blue, so good choice me!

If Toyota keeps up the pattern of pro-exclusive colors going everywhere else after a year and I was buying my truck as a 2021 in December of 2020, I'd want an Army Green. And, I'd prefer to have Calvary too. But, such is life. I like MGM well enough and the best out of the options I had at the time so no real regret.

 

i feel like grandpa talking about, 'back in my day there was Timberland Mica'. i wish they carried that color over to 2012. i got the safety colour, MGM - can't go wrong. but that Timberland Mica i tell ya, all the ladies thought it was sharp.

 

Kind of. I mean, nothing looks better than black for the 30 minutes it stays clean, out west here. Part of me wishes I went MGM or white or something.

 

After my 99 5.2 Dakota I swore I would never have a black vehicle again.

I now own a Black Tacoma...... that dealer stock and instant satisfaction got me....

 

Yeah, I always say I'm never getting black again, and then I get black.

 

I had a red first gen, silver 2nd gen and now Cement....never regretting this..Love the color!

 

Super White is the safest color for night driving.

 

Wanted quicksand, eventually found and bought MGM, and now wish I had white. The white OR's look so good with black trim and ANY color wheelset. I'd have done white paint and dark bronze wheels if I could go back at it again.

I don't regret the MGM though. It's just kinda boring.
