    ... and I LOL'ed.

MGM here. Love the color and have zero regrets. Definitely not a flashy color and not likely to draw much attention. But it's classy and will always be in demand.

Looks like people with black are consistently regretting their choice. That was actually my second color choice. Would have been #1 if not for the maintenance.

Ha... just having a little fun. Don’t take me too seriously, though I am a middle-aged dad in a silver Taco myself.

No regrets. Wanted this color on a vehicle for a long time.

I love how easy it is to keep looking clean, especially out here in the desert. The color hides dirt so well. You don't notice it needs to be washed until you brush up against it and it leaves dirt on your clothes.

I had an mgm. I regretted it due to the light scratches and chips that would show from 6 feet.

I have a QS now and I'm happy.

I went with QS. I liked Cement slightly more but Cement was the only color my wife hated more than QS. Happy wife; happy life and all that... None of the factory offerings aside from Cement and QS appealed to me.

I really wish there was a traditional navy blue 3rd Gen paint offering. The flat blue available now available for the TRD Pro doesn't really do it for me, but I have yet to see one in person.

Wanted MGM, but found an SSM 2017 left over for a good deal. Its grown on me. Its not as boring of a silver as other makes. Changes depending on shadows and lighting. I think it looks best under cloudy skies or from the rear when you get a shadow on the tailgate.

There was a used silver Canyon on the lot, but the silver is relatively uniform and boring. No depth like the Tacoma.

I'm in the process of buying an Inferno TRD Offroad, went to the dealer to purchase one they had in stock and it was sold that morning so now I'm just waiting. I've had 2 silver 4Runners and thought about getting a silver Tacoma but decided I need to change it up a bit with Inferno.

I don't really regret getting black, although it wasn't really a choice. There was only 1 2017 SR manual w/convenience package within 200 miles of me back in late August 2016 and it was black so that's what I got.

If I had my pick of the SR color choices it would've been red, but the black does look good.

Hay, I resent what you said about orange, mostly because I resemble that joke! :bananadance:

I deleted the post because I felt people were missing the joke and getting honestly offended. I am glad it lives on as a “quote”.

To me Quicksand makes your truck look like it is perpetually muddy. No thanks.

Haha seems like we were in a similar boat. One thing that is great about the Tacoma AC in orange is how can change tones depending on the light. There are A LOT of new orange cars out there but Toyota's has a more brighter metallic tone than other manufacturers IMO.

Also, I can always find my Taco in the parking lot, unlike my previous trucks!

    I got stuff on order...
The first truck I drove was MGM and I loved it. The truck I ended up with is SSM and I'm liking it more and more each day. It's a great color.

I wanted a white Limited, but there were none in stock in DFW. The salesman talked me into what he had. I don't hate it, but would much rather my Tacoma were white. Just a preference. The silver seems to scratch and rock chip really easily.

I saw a while Limited today. They do exist.

Posted in here before regretting SSM... it grew on me. I love it. Durable and low maintenance color.

I wish I'd seen Cement before I bought mine. I love my color but that Cement really looks sharp. You're right though, the color lineup is great. There are so many great colors.

I love my white, but I really wanted a radiant red. Pearl Blue is amazing too.

White's good because Arizona and also there are lots of white so getting body parts will be easy, matching to 3M vinyl or Line-X seems to be possible.

But I'd trade it for a Red if they had the old red. And I sort of, kind of, regret not getting blue. I just need to get 2 more trucks!

Edit: I actually have quicksand most of the week, and white once a week.
