I bought an extra filet-o-fish and two cheeseburgers for him for later. They nuke up pretty good with the wrapper on, really no change from fresh.

The key to success in the food industry is consistency. McDonald's, The Original Hamburger Stand, Jack In The Box, Taco Bell, etc... are all consistently fucked up. We know this going in and are therefore rarely disappointed. :D

Did they have Texas plates? Or just a registration sticker that was expired, or both?

We’ve been going there for years, a long time before the Sharkey’s took over. It’s a great place and one I’ll miss whenever we move.

I loaded up about 25% of the branches from the tree and headed to the local recycling center where residents can drop off cardboard and yard debris for free. There is usually a line but not today. Not because everyone is doing other things, it is closed for construction. Dammit.

I head across town to the nearest Denver county landfill and they say it’s $90 for my truck or $150 for a trailer with 4x the load. Some difficult maths tells me it’s better to haul it home, get a trailer and go back next weekend with a full load. Thankfully, I put a tarp down under the load so I was able to slide it off my truck pretty easily. Three hours were wasted, though.

If you want to waste three hours again next weekend but save a bunch of cash, there's a landscaping materials company here in Colorado Springs that will take a load (truck or trailer) of yard waste for $10 as long as it's from your own yard. Saturdays only.
