Hey Sean, how long did it take to weld all the pieces together for the TGs? I have a buddy that welds but don't wanna drop a huge project on him since you have to weld everything...

Cool, I was expecting like 4-5 hours for all those welds.

Then again, I don't know anything about welding.

Best thing on tinted windows if you get pulled over just roll them down. Keeps LEO from having to question what is in back. Doesn't work though when you have two German Shepherds in the back seat. :D

The thing about pulling over based on window tint is that that's the only PC you have to stop the car. If you get up there and measure the tint and its ok, your PC has just evaporated. Granted a cop could argue good faith in court but that only lasts so long.

Whereas with a front plate missing, the PC for that stop isn't gonna evaporate and we can check your tint while we're there if we suspect its too dark.

Here's what I do when I get stopped (haven't in years...though the wife has :-/ and I'n with her)
-pull over to a SAFE spot....not where the Officer has to watch traffic constantly.
    -front window(s) down
    -ignition off
    -keys on dash
-hands up slightly or on the top of the wheel
-announce to officer(if I'm carrying) where and what I'm carrying and how they would like me to proceed.

....I've done hundreds of ride alongs. Attitude/honesty gets you very far. Especially If you have a weapon. The officer doesn't want a surprise, nor do u.

-Aaron please correct if I'm wrong

..on a side note I should practice wearing my seat belt more. I guess I take advantage b/c it's a secondary offense.

Attitude and honesty get you far but technically the officer should decide before he contacts you if he is gonna give you a ticket, key word technically!!!

If not, the officer is gonna get hung up in court if he writes tickets to the guys that mouth and not to the ones that are nice. Because there is no such thing as a contempt of cop charge.

True...although we all know "I'm giving this ass a coupon" mentality when on a traffic stop that violates on of the officers pet peeves...then that can change once contact is made. ;)

I still need to have my sliders welded on as well or the burn in or something like that so I can take them and get them powder coated.
