apparently broke the BST rules and since In the intro thread I mentioned being a long time TW member they banned me for an additional 7 days for not “knowing better” Which is partially true but I was also hoping the TW reference would cut me an extra slack to “ he’s been on our forum for over ten years lol” It’s what I get for assuming. TW is better anyway

Literally same thing happened to me. Was a forum member for like 5 years but didn’t have enough posts because that forum doesn’t have much going on. Got a week ban with no explanation so I had to have another member investigate. Either way, it’ll be behind ya soon, then you can just sell your stuff on marketplace like the world intended.

After months of searching I finally secured a 2G of my liking an hour or two ago, and I "have to" go to Denver to get it. Thinking about budgeting an extra day to creep west a bit and do a little mini road trip instead of just immediately hopping on 76 and hammer down eastbound; looking for some route suggestions so I can get a little mountain time in and maybe see a thing or two along the way. Tentative plan is to pick a route west from Denver, then head north at some point and finally head east, maybe even through SD if travel times don't make it a stretch, but am wide open to tips and ideas. Thanks in advance!!

Where will you be ending up? If you’re already entertaining SD / I90, you could make the long trek below:
Denver, Granby, Walden, Laramie, Wheatland, Lusk, New Castle, Custer, Rapid City, then I90 home.

Wheatland to New Castle is pretty boring, but better than driving through eastern CO and Nebraska in my opinion. All just depends on how much time and desire you have.

Or take I25/85 out of Denver and go straight to New Castle if you need some mtn scenery with minimal additional time on your drive home. Black Hills will be busy this time of year but still worth driving through.

I have a feeling parts of Colorado is about to get one hell of a storm. Awfully boomy out there right now. Glad I rode yesterday.

Stop and have a cigarette at The Pub.

Also not a bad place if you want an old-school small-town family-friendly-bar cheeseburger.

Don't tell me that...this thing's pretty cherry and it's outside now that the owner has a, uh, slightly more expensive truck in the garage that replaced it..

I'm landing in Denver on Friday at around noon, figure an hour or so to button up the sale, and then I'm off with no agenda yet, I'd just need to be back in the Grand Rapids area by Sunday evening. Fairly laid back two day trip back were I to just head straight back; I guess though I really only have about a day to burn so maybe I'd be best off sticking nearish Denver rather than burning a bunch of time covering extra miles (albeit, quite scenic ones). I'll check those routes out and see what looks good - thanks for the tips!

You're planning to do Denver to Grand Rapids in a day? I don't envy that plan.

Source: I've made the drive to/from the Chicago area a few times. It's tedious.

Noooooo no no no no, haha, I have a day or so for play/explore (well, probably more like what is left of Friday and part of Saturday). It would probably be possible in one day, but that would not be a fun day..although if I can get all of Saturday in Colorado too..

You know, if I were half my age again or so, things would be a lot more exciting.

It’s not too late to buy my supercharged 2015 instead… and do the same drive home from Denver.

Does anyone have some solar panels (100-300W) I can borrow from 6/14-24 (pick up sometime this week)? I'd be plugging into a Goal Zero Yeti 1500x which has its own MPPT and has two input options:

I'd certainly save some time on the boring leg, hah! Probably a bit more than I was looking to bite off, but did you have it posted in the classifieds? Don't recall seeing anything put up by you.

I’d vouch for @JasonLee someone snag his truck who will drive it like it should. He’s gone full EV!
