Damn, great price if both sets of tires have at least another year on them.

I’ve been considering getting one of these and running the original drivetrain until dead and then do a Tesla/Leaf swap to a full EV…

But I also don’t have a yard, workshop or trailer to support these ideas.

Has anyone had front fiberglass installed on their trucks? If so did you do it yourself or did you have someone install in for you? Just bought some and wanted to get some advice.

Such a good deal, it'd be stupid to pass up, right?

Plus it's red. Or was red. Don't see too many red ones.

S/o to @Deathbysnusnu for yet another wise call.

They didn't give me any money for it. But I didn't do any work to get rid of it so I'd say thats a nice trade.

Glad they still do it. Pretty cool watching them just drag that carcass on the bed isn't it. :D

In case you haven't decided, here's another vote for 5.29 and 33s. Regeared my 2017 around 5 years ago and I'm glad I did. I'm also running OVTune from around that time. If you do the gears, make sure you get a new tune and make sure it has the governor disabled, the throttle will cut out around 92-93 mph if you don't.

There's this lady on fb who has been trying to come see my motorcycle for sale for weeks. Everytime she picks a date it snows the day before. Another botched visit this weekend.

I put them on my last truck (2005 taco) like 10+ years ago.

Fitting them up was a fair amount of work, but also I was in college living in a frat house with the truck parked on the street and a mediocre set of basic hand tools, bondo and fiberglass patch kit. My first attempt at automotive painting turned out good enough... Just a lot of orange peel. My panel gaps weren't perfect either, but everything looked fine from 15 feet away.

It's doable on your own if you're willing to put in the effort and don't mind mounting/removing a couple dozen times to check fitment and make adjustments.

    Couple photos from the archive

Same glass. Took a little work to get it to fit.

Anyone have a line on a good welder on the western slope?(Montrose or Grand junction)

My 3rd gen 4runner needs some outboard shock relocation tabs welded on.
