So im just getting you guys opinion, but im going to have a cab mount chop done, and since i cant weld for shit im having a shop do it. Does $90 sound reasonable for them to chop the cab mount, CNC plates, weld and paint?

X2... My ex had a mini cooper that had no where to put a plate and she was always getting tickets in Denver for it. I believe hot rods are exempt but not sure

That sounds really cheap to me. I just cut mine though and never welded plates on.

That sounds pretty normal for a shop but I think if you order some CMC plates from a vendor on here and borrow someone's cutoff wheel you could cut it your self and have Chris or someone else weld the plates on for a lot cheaper

Hey I was given this old antique military cooler. At least thats what I think it is. Can you guys think of any cool ideas for this? Maybe mounted with a bracket on the bed rails or something?

A small handful of select mods.
$90 bucks is a good price for not having to do it. If you got the money I'd say go for it.
I am thinking portable homemade stereo with speakers. Perfect for camping.

Super cool ideal! Especially if I made the speakers fit into those removable compartments. I'm pretty sure it water proof too!

really diggin the idea of a camping stereo. If that black gasket on the lid and rim are still in tact then yes it should still be water proof for the most part. Those were used in soup kitchens for delivering hot food to the troops while out in the field.

Went out to central city last wednesday, Pretty cool place but i didnt really like it much. My rig wasnt set up for such rocky hills, It got pretty gnarly in someplaces. I would enjoy it more with some skids and a front bumper. I was scared to death of poking a hole in a pan or smashing my exhaust.

No way man, Yankee hill right now is HARSH! i nailed my front skid a couple of times. IDK maybe it was just me not liking the rocks and being overly stressed but i didnt like it, i prefer more mud runs and like dirt and sand and gravel and mud all together instead of just a ton fuck of rocks and boulders haha
