    A small handful of select mods.
    Haven't researched the tie rod cost yet but:

    U Joint - $95 OEM
    CV's - one I got free $50 to reboot it. The other was on a group buy on here from a local shop. I want to say it was only like $120.
    LR UCA ball joint - $75

    There are lots of parts you could carry but where does it stop? You know. I should probably pick up a wheel bearing, a carrier bearing, and some belts just in case. Next thing you know you have a spare engine back and extra 500lbs. to carry around.

    Agreed. But a cv joint, u joint, tie rod end and ball joint, maybe some belts. I feel that wouldn't be too much to haul around and could mean a lot less stressful day...
