My BAMF diff skid was the same way. I finally torqued on the bolt to get the bolt and threads to start then it was just hard wrenching to get it on. Another guy who had the same skid was the same way. It's almost like it was like that on purpose to lock the threads more or something.

I just ate $45 worth of sushi. Is that taking a cheat meal over the top? :) maybe more. I ordered $61 but OB ate 1.5 rolls haha.

That's called crossthreading.. not a good thing. Get a knurling bit and wallow the holes out a little. Use washers with the bolts after.

I hear you on that. There are a couple sushi places up here where they have a lot of "specials" but actually its just a way to make you spend $80 on sushi haha

I'm almost positive that it didn't crossthread. I feel like with the size of the bolts if it crossthreaded would have been way harder than it was to get all the way in. When I torqued the bolt I did it to flex the upper bracket to get the holes to line up closer. I hope I didn't crossthread it!

I have been to many in boulder my ex went to school there. I'm kind of a sushi snob and I think zanmi is the best we have in Colorado, go fish being 2nd and a place called yum Asian fusion my 3rd.
